We discussed the power move by Mayor Quinton Lucas on the Police budget by allocating 20% of the budget to community policing. Councilman Barnes is the chair of the Neighborhood Planning and Development. Mr. Barnes also sits on the Finance, Government and Public Safety committee. We also discussed a new development targeted for 63rd and Prospect.
